Just Because
*sigh*
Boo distractions! Boo me for always getting distracted! Here I am, supposedly studying for something, but instead I decided to write a fanfic. I blame it on the chocolate drink, because after I finished it, and while I was washing my mug, I thought of this lame idea for a fanfic. *sigh*
And my fingers started to clickie on the keyboard all by themselves. I swear! *feigns innocent look*
I dont really know what will come next, hopefully I'll think of something tomorrow, wahahaha! I dont plan on making this too long, maybe 3 chapters would be enough. ^_^
Without further delay...Here my new lame fic! :-D *I love being harsh on myself* *cackles evilly*

Rating: PG
Disclaimer: I wish I owned them, but Johnny takes very good care of them, and they grant me ownership over them. *is sad*
Synopsis: Tegoshi is a typical kouhai, and there's this one semapi he likes so much.
Tegoshi has always liked school. It didn't matter if girls didn't actually like him, or if he wasn't someone who would stand out, or typically be called famous. Tegoshi liked school-just because. Just because he liked learning. Just because he liked to get involved in club activities--in this case, soccer. Just because he liked looking at his sempais. Just beacause there was this one sempai he really really admired. And really, just because.
Tegoshi always tried - and is still trying - to be a good kouhai. He does everything a sempai asks him to do, looks at them with an air of respect and sometimes, in really rare occassions, treats them like one would treat a king.
This sempai Tegoshi really admired though, never really cared for unnecessary attention. He would always give out a ready smile to everyone, a smile that seems to be brighter and warmer than the sun. Tegoshi admired this sempai, not only because of his smile, but, just because.
The first time Tegoshi talked to his favorite sempai was when he was running late for classes. Tegoshi has mistakenly set his alarm for 7 PM instead of 7 AM, and as a result, he was dashing through the gates of his school, bag and blazer put on haphazardly. In his great haste, he did not really see where he was heading to, not until he crashed into something that was soft, warm and smelled terribly good.
Tegoshi muttered a quick 'gomen' and started to gather his things that were strewn on the ground, without even bothering to look up. He was desperately looking for one book that has gone missing, which was very very bad, since it was the book for his first-and most favorite-subject in the morning. Then suddenly, the other person leaned down to hand Tegoshi something. Tegoshi stared at the large hand that was offering him his mising book-Fundamentals of Vocal Singing Exercises- and listened unbelieving to the voice that said:
"Here you go. Do you like to sing?"
Tegoshi breathed a sigh of relief as he took his book. He looked up to thank the stranger, but instead, he let out a gasp of disbelief. He was looking into the face of his sempai, the sempai he admired so much, the sempai he had secretly watched from afar.
"You OK? You're Tegoshi, right? Year 2? I've seen you around a lot. Oh I'm Masuda Takahisa by the way."
Tegoshi's mouth hung open as he stared at the smiling face of Masuda. He noticed the way his sempai's eyes seem to disappear when he smiles, the way his face crinkles, and the dimple that showed on his cheek-things
he's never noticed before, just because he was never too near this sempai. Then he realized that he hasn't really said anything as a reply to what Masuda has said.
"O-oh right...uh-y-yes...I'm T-T-Te...Tegoshi Ya- no Yu. I mean. Yuya. Tegoshi Yuya desu. V-very p...pleased to m...m..meet you." Tegoshi managed to stammer before the bell for first period rang.
Masuda let out a deep laugh. "You're really cute, neh Tegoshi-kun! It’s really nice talking to you! But I've got to go; I have to hand in a report for my first class. I hope we get to talk again soon!" He left while waving energetically over to Tegoshi.
Tegoshi tried to still the furious beating of his heart. He never really understood why he was so attracted to Massu-no, wait. He's Masuda. He shouldn’t act all too familiar with him and start calling him Massu. Not yet anyway. Still unable to calm his heart, he dashed to the nearest restroom, not caring if he was late for his class. He splashed cold water on his face, and stared at his reflection on the mirror. His face looked so flushed, and there were still tinges of pink and red on his cheeks. He wondered why. Not even the prettiest girl in his class could do this to him. Then why? He no longer wanted to escape the question by just answering Just Because. Its time he confronted his feelings, and find out why Massu-no really! It’s NOT Massu! Masuda, Masuda...Masuda-sempai (and here Tegoshi marveled at how easy and natural it was for him to say out his name), *cough* anyways...He must find out why Masuda seems almost too special to him.
